Inventing American History

This short book is a set of arguments with people who lie about American history in three parts. First Hogeland deconstructs the recent popularity of Alexander Hamilton among political commentators, then he explores Pete Seeger’s communism and William F. Buckley’s racism, and the book ends with a journey to the Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
