John the Revelator

Peter Murphy

★★★☆☆

Review:

This is a weird novel, mostly in a good way—Murphy reminds me of an Irish Haruki Murakami. In general it was good creepy fun. Still, most of what happens after the opening chapter is depressing, inexplicable, or both.
