I remember reading some of these comics as a kid, and being much more impressed back then. The plots and villains are very inventive (Arthur Dekker, e.g.) and the art is generally really cool, but the individual stories don’t really fit together very well. Scott McCloud’s commentary on his creative process was very good, though.
