Marcus is great at writing about listening, at capturing a sound and a feel in words. This is a compilation of his adventures following Dylan’s career from the motorcycle crash to the present day, through good times and bad. A wonderful book, but really enjoying it requires either a knowledge of the music discussed, or easy access to it.
