I Shot a Man in Reno: A History of Death by Murder, Suicide, Fire, Flood, Drugs, Disease, and General Misadventure, As Related In Popular Song

★★★★☆

Review:

This book was pretty interesting, even though I’m not familiar with a lot of the music it talks about. There’s a great section on Bob Dylan’s “To Ramona,” and I thought the parts about 1950s pop and gangster rap were excellent.
