This was pretty much just like the movie directed by the Coen brothers—I don’t know which format I liked better, but they’re both pretty great. The book has more monologues by Sheriff Bell, which were my favorite part of the movie. And Cormac McCarthy is Cormac McCarthy, so there’s plenty of violence and darkness in the story.
